Charles Edwin Leonard's Obituary
Charles Edwin Leonard of Boulder died, July 29, 2015 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Boulder. He was 90. Charles was born February 14, 1925 in Graham, Texas to James and Irma Leonard. He graduated from White Deer High School, in White Deer, Texas before enlisting in the United States Army in 1943. Charles, a World War II Veteran, earned numerous medals during his service in Central Europe and the Pacific Rim. He became a Logistician for Mobile Oil and traveled all over the world for 50 years. Charles married Florence M. Rogers in November, 1961 in Farmington, New Mexico before moving to Boulder. Charles is preceded in death by his son Glyn Rodgers. He is survived by his wife Florence Leonard of Boulder, daughters Liz Davis (David) of Boulder & Ginger (John) Zuchowski of Mt. Pleasant, SC, grandsons Roger and Lee Zuchowski of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Luke Davis of Boulder, and his granddaughter Alyssa Davis of Boulder. Private graveside services will be held in Dallas, Texas at Restland Memorial Park.
