Charles Ray Lovelace's Obituary
Charles Ray Lovelace, born in Kerens, Texas, to Charles Carlton Lovelace and Beatrice Inmon Lovelace on January 3, 1937, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nancy Lynn Lovelace. Charles was a devoted father to his children: Greg Lovelace, married to Amy Lovelace, with grandchildren Tyler, Justin, and Lydia; Brian Lovelace, Married to Nan Lovelace, with grandson James Richardson; and Lynn Lovelace, with grandchildren Nicholas Metzinger, Adam Metzinger, and Samuel Metzinger. He cherished attending his grandchildren's events and was immensely proud of each of them.
He is also survived by his sister, Ann Anderson, married to Danny Anderson. Charles was preceded in death by his brother Allen Lovelace, and sister- in- law, Caroline Lovelace. Charles is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Charles had a distinguished career as a manager of a CAD drafting group for Electrospace Systems, He was an avid DIY enthusiast, enjoying woodworking, mechanical projects, and more recently, chip carving group nearly every Friday. His passion for creating and fixing things was evident in all aspects of his life. A member of the Air national Guard, Charles served his country with honor and dedication. Charles will be remembered for his love of family, his dedication to his work, and his creative spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of love hard work, and craftsmanship.
