Charles Clarence Morris' Obituary
Charles Clarence Morris, born on December 13, 1929 in Mount Pleasant, TX, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 18, 2016 in Plano, TX. Charles is survived by his wife of 67 years, Peggy Morris; his son Glen Morris and wife Leslie; his grandchildren Nathan Curry, Brian Morris and Emily Morris; his brother Bill Morris and sister Bobbie Landers; and his son-in-law Roy Curry. Charles was preceded in death by his daughter Reena Curry. Charles was a devoted and loving follower of Christ, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He worked for Sears for more than forty years, primarily as a buyer. Charles was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed playing tennis, hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed growing vegetables in his garden. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11 AM at The Heights Baptist Church, 201 W. Renner Road, Richardson, TX. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to Pine Cove Christian Camps Project 319. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
