Charles Lee Ramey – Garland, Texas Born on December 17, 1930 in Celina, Texas. Departed this life on July 26, 2019Survived by his wife Millie Jean Ramey of 65 years, his daughter Cindy Delaney and husband Gary, and his son Curtis Ramey and wife Kelly. 6 grandchildren: Carolyn and husband Charles Gift, Katie Ramey, Ryne Delaney, Jake Ramey and wife Emilee, Ryan Russell, Seth and wife Kaitlyn Ramey. 5 great grandchildren: Chandler and Charlie Gift, Logan and Baylee Ramey and Kyler Ramey. 2 Nieces and lots of Cousins.Proceeded in death by his Father Earnest J. Ramey, Mother Lexia Ramey and Sister Joyce Ramey Ferguson. Retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 34 years.Served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Member and Deacon at Shiloh Terrance Baptist Church. Volunteered at the White Rock Center of Hope and other mission activities thru his church. Enjoyed woodworking as a hobby and would cut out pieces for his wife to paint. Always friendly and never met a stranger.Funeral services for Mr. Charles Lee Ramey will be held at Shiloh Terrace Church on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 10:00am.
