Charles Franklin Reid's Obituary
REID, CHARLES FRANKLIN , 53, of Johnson City, TN passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012 in Johnson City, TN, due to heart-related complications. He was born March 24, 1959, in Columbus, MS. He resided in Mesquite, TX before relocating to Nashville, TN in 1999. Charles F. Reid is survived by his son Charles Reid Jr., his mother Linda Reid of Mesquite, his father Charles Reid of Combine, and his brother Tony Reid of Alba, Texas. A memorial service in his honor will be held at 12:30 pm Friday, November 30, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home and Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, TX 75243, in the Wildwood Chapel. Charles’ greatest passion in life was music. We would like his memory to be carried on by requesting that expressions of sympathy may be made to Little Kids Rock, a non-profit organization that provides music instruction to students; or to the American Heart Association . His ashes will be interned at the Dallas-Ft. Worth VA Cemetery. He will be missed dearly by all of his friends and family.
