SMITH, CHARLES R. born November 11, 1921 in Belvidere, IL and passed away on June 30, 2007 in Dallas, TX. Bob was active in the Big Brother organization for many years as well as the church family he loved. He was also very proud to serve in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Aleutian Islands. Bob is preceded in death by his wife, Bernice Smith. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Smith; brother, Warren Smith and his wife, Dolly; stepchildren, Sharon Brown, Dale Goodwin, and Virginia Boyd; niece, Becky Bryan and her husband Rommie; great niece and nephew, Amanda Gidney and Thomas Walls.Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Cochran Chapel United Methodist Church, 9027 Midway Rd., Dallas, TX 75209. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to the Cochran Chapel United Methodist Church,
