Charles William Smith's Obituary
Charles passed peacefully on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the age of 79. Charles was born on September 28, 1940 to John William and Bessie Ree White in Dallas Texas.
He is survived in death by his son Scott William Smith and his daughter-in-law Donna Mitchell Smith, his two grandsons Blake William Smith and Gabriel Mitchell. He has three granddaughters, Alexis Smith, Nicole Mitchell, and Madison Mitchell.
He is further survived by three nephews Mike, Greg, and Chad Smith.
Proceeded in death by his wife Laura Francis “Fran” and his brother Don Smith.
Charles graduated from North Dallas high school and continued his education by receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He then obtained his MBA from SMU in Business Administration.
Charles will be remembered by friends and family as a distinguished CPA of 46 years, a quick witted but quiet man and a great storyteller. He proudly served in the military as a Captain in the United States Air Force from 1963 to 1967.
Due to COVID, there will be a small family visitation at 12:00 pm followed by a graveside service at 1:00 pm on Sunday July 19, 2020 at Restland Funeral Home And Cemetery.
