Charles Harvey Stewart's Obituary
Stewart, Charles Harvey Born on February 3, 1939 in Pittsburg, PA. and passed away on August 29, 2013 in Richardson, TX. Chuck is preceded in death by parents, Charles and Gertrude Stewart; and former wife, Jeanne Stewart. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Chuck was an incredibly gifted engineer and craftsman who loved his hobbies of trains, rockets, black powder guns, target shooting and many others; he was extremely proud of his CHL certification. Chuck was a wonderful family leader and lover of fun! He graduated from Penn State with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. Chuck was employed 27 years at TI, then BAE and ended his career with Alcatel. He was blessed with talented hands and was a lifetime tinkerer, fixer and builder. Chuck is survived by his wife, Carolyn Stewart of Richardson; sister, Linda Russell and husband, Richard of Round Rock, Texas; daughter, Susan Mills and husband, Randall of Plano; sons, Lance Turner and wife, Julie of Oregon; and David Stewart and wife, Bonnie-Jean of Greenville, TX; 7 grandchildren, 3 nephews, and 1 niece. Family will receive friends on Monday, September 2, 2013 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Restland Wildwood Chapel. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
