I knew Charles and his dad, Charles Sr. from the hardware industry. First class people and always hardworking. Had planned to soon contact Chuck to let him know I moved from Ohio to Garland, Texas! As a Christian I know we will meet again and pray your memories of the good times will bring you comfort. Tom & Laura Bollenbacher tbollen@windstream.net Garland, Texas
Carol and Beverly: Our paths have not crossed often in these past years but Sam and I are sad to learn of "Chuckie's" passing. We first knew him when they moved next door to us on Maydele Street. He was Chuckie and his dad was Chuck. Always polite and kind I think he probably became a mover and shaker like his dad. We shared many years together as neighbors. We would like to have known about this at the time but we send our sympathy to you both. Phyllis and Sam Allen.
Chuck was a great friend to me and always willing to help in any way he could. I actually met Chuck through doing business with his Father and ended up making a life long friend. We will miss you Chuck..! Mark Overby
Beverly; I am sadden to hear of your Dads passing. He was one of the nicest men I know. My deepest sympathies to you and your family! Your in my thoughts, Stacy King
I have known Chuck Taylor for about 15 years, and with each passing year our friendship grew stronger. I will miss his stories, his genuine friendship, his compassion and the way that he treated people. Chuck was the most generous man I have ever known. He was always good to Lue Ann and me. I will miss working with him at the trade shows and watching his salesmanship. That was a thing of beauty! Rest in peace Chuck. Bill Cannon
We are so sorry to hear of the sudden loss of a great neighbor. Our thoughts are with you, Carol and Beverly. Jim and Cynthia Heaberlin
Ron and I are deeply saddened by the news of Chuck's untimely passing. Through the years, Chuck (as well as his Dad) have been friendly competitors in the business world but always remained friends. I (Noel) still vividly remember walking down the aisle at K/BIS and running into Chuck visiting with a group of people. Chuck's eyes got big when he saw me and made the comment – "Wow, we were just talking about you." We visited for a long time ant shared our mutual respect for each other as being honest and fair businessmen in a tough industry. Our sympathy goes out to Chuck's family and also know he will be very missed in our industry as well!
