Charles Warrick's Obituary
Born June 22, 1923 in Sioux City, Iowa and passed away Tuesday January 15, 2008. Preceded in death by parents, Clifford and Ruth Knott Warrick; son, Charles, Jr. (Buddy); and sisters, Mary Jane, Pat, and Betty. Survived by devoted wife of 37 years, Patricia; sons, Andrew (Tanya) Warrick, William (Ann) Fleming; daughters, Cherry (Stephen) Atwell, Francesca (Kenneth) Hulick; 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and sister, Peggy Haney. Served as a Marine Air Corp Pilot for 12 years in Pacific WWII, occupation of Japan and Korean War, earning multiple medals including two distinguished Flying Cross’s. He was honorably discharged as Major in 1953. Active in Petroleum Marketing and commercial Real Estate business until September 2007. During 50 years membership in Salesmanship Club he was chairman of Camp Board, Ticket Sales and Walking Marshals at Nelson Tournament and President of All Sports. Loved golfing at Dallas Country Club, dancing at Petroleum Club, and fishing wherever.
