Mr. Charles Hubert Welch's Obituary
Charles Hubert Welch was born in Chanute, Kansas on February 13, 1932. He attended high school in Manitou and later in Loveland, Oklahoma. He enjoyed attending school reunions. The family owned a hotel in Kansas. They sold the hotel and moved to Dallas, Texas in the early 1950s. In Dallas they owned a service station, café/grocery store combo.
Charlie worked in many positions in sheet metal manufacturing. He was well known in the industry and known as one of the best sheet metal workers around. He especially enjoyed making his own visions into a sheet metal reality, which many are still around to this day.
Charlie is proceeded in death by his parents, Henry Clay Welch & Lillian Ruth Witt (Welch); siblings, Anna Catherine Welch (Brown), Helen Vesta Welch, Henry Lee Welch, & Joseph Marvin Welch; and daughter, Charlotte Ann Welch (Beeson).
He is survived by his children, Kenneth Dwayne Welch, Addie Lanai Welch, Candius Lee Ann Welch (Truscott); 5 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Charlie has many extended family members and friends that will miss his laughter and humorous outlook on life. Charlie loved life and lived it to the fullest. Charlie will truly be missed.
