Charles (Charlie) Williams
Charles Winfield Williams was born March 14, 1928, to Mammie Lee and John Thomas Williams, at home, in the Wetzel Community (now Allen) Texas. Charlie was the youngest of five children. The family eventually moved to Dallas, Texas. Charlie attended North Dallas High, received a football scholarship to North Texas Agriculture College (now U.T.A), and Midwestern State University. Charlie was a lifelong Texan. He was drafted into the Marine Corp at the end of WWII and served two years. Charlie loved to fly airplanes, build houses, drive Corvettes and watch the Dallas Cowboys. Charlie’s life was one of hard work, fun and dedication to his family.
Charlie entered his heavenly home on July 6, 2023. He was preceded by his wife, Lynn Williams of 52 years.
Charlie is survived by his daughter, Susan Tate and husband Ralph Tate, granddaughters, Nadia Alazri, Tamara Alazri, and great-granddaughter, Sierra Ramirez.
