Charles Farrell " Chuck " Williams' Obituary
Charles F. “Chuck” Williams passed away on May 29, 2026, in Richardson, Texas at 92
years of age. Charles was born on January 24, 1934, to D. Farrell Williams and Mary Beth Wilson Williams in Wylie, Texas.
Charles was an “Aggie” Engineering Graduate of Texas A&M Class of 1955. Charles Was a United States Army Veteran, serving a 6-year contract span, retiring as a Captain. Charles worked as an engineer for 46 years, first for General Electric, then Collins Radio Company, then continuing with Rockwell International until his retirement. He is a Life member of the Engineering Management Association.
Charles was active in Texas Elks State Association for many years becoming State President in 1983-84, he was elected as GER, also known as Elks National President and served in 1993-94, He remained active in Grand Lodge Advisory more than 5 Advisory Committees and served on 3 of the 5 National Commissions. He served as State Sponsor, serving Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico and Texas.
Charles is survived by his wife, Gladys Genson Williams, whom he married in July, 2013.
By Son and Step- children, Farrell Williams, Cindy Hampton, Tiny Davis, Carol Wright, Cheryl Jo Wood, and Jeff Bogue whose families include 16 Grand Children, 15 Great Grand- Children and 7 Great- Great - Grand Children. As well as Gladys's children Lane Genson, Rusty Genson and Tracy Genson and their families.
Services are being handled by Restland Funeral Home at 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas. Service will be June 4, 2026, with visitation at 1:00 pm, Service at 2:00 pm, and burial following.
