Charlie Compton's Obituary
Charles Leslie Compton, also known as Charlie, age 59, of Rowlett, TX, passed away on August 25, 2024. Born on June 26, 1965, in Gainesville, TX, he was the beloved son of Charles Kenneth Compton and Martha Ann Cinquemani.
Charlie married the love of his life, Susan Elaine White, on June 6, 1987, in Dallas, TX. Their union was a testament to enduring love and partnership, spanning nearly 35 years until her passing in 2022.
Charlie will be remembered for his remarkable strength, tireless work ethic, and unwavering resilience. His leadership was a guiding light to many, and his sharp wit brought joy and laughter to those around him.
Known for his genuine friendliness and steadfast loyalty, Charlie built lasting relationships wherever he went. He had a deep passion for cooking, golfing, fishing, and hunting, hobbies that he pursued with great enthusiasm. His legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Charlie was preceded in death by his wife, Susan; his father, Charles; his father-in-law, Wayne; and his sons, Gabriel and Luke.
He is survived by his son, Chase, and his wife, Sydni, and their children, Ellie and Maverick; his daughter, Faith; his mother, Martha; his brothers, Mark and his wife Kris, and Brian; his stepmom, Wanda; his mother-in-law, Barbara; his sister-in-law, Paula and her husband Charlie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held to celebrate Charlie's life. It will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10:30 AM at Restland Memorial Chapel, located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243. A livestream link will become available in the following days prior to the service.
