Charlie Parker's Obituary
Charles Joseph Parker, 60, of Richardson, TX passed away on August 23, 2020. He was born on October 15, 1959 to Robert Eugene Parker and Cynthia Holder Parker in El Paso, TX. He married Barbara Plessinger on October 15, 1994. He was employed over 33 years by Convex Computer, Hewlett-Packard Enterprises, and ISS Facility Svcs.
Charlie loved and cared well for his family. He was a Christian, a husband, father, stepfather, son, brother, uncle, coworker, a friend, neighbor, and animal lover. He and Barbara were foster parents and then adoptive parents. He was an avid sports fan and was loyal to the Texas Rangers, the Dallas Cowboys, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals, the Dallas Mavericks, the Indiana Pacers and the Dallas Stars. His sports card was full every weekend. Charlie helped anyone that he possibly could and without hesitation. His family was his life, his Harley was his heart and his chocolate Lab, Jordie, was his walking buddy. He was suddenly and tragically taken from us and is already sadly missed by the hundreds of people he touched.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Parker of Richardson, TX; his father, Robert E Parker, El Paso, Tx; son, Gabriel Parker, Richardson, TX; stepson, Evan Tittle, Richardson, TX; sister, Vicki Parker Maline (Bill), Ft. Davis, TX; brothers, Robert E. Parker, Jr., El Paso, TX; James Parker (Cathy), Stevenson Ranch, CA; Kenneth Parker (Donna), Justin, TX and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, an aunt, uncles, and cousins.
Charlie was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Holder Parker, niece Melaney Parker Rayburn, and nephew Patrick Newlin.
