We are neighbors of Charlotte, and were so sad and surprised to hear she has left us. Our fondest memories are of Charlotte and her sweetheart dog, Toto, walking in our neighborhood every day. We exchanged laughs and smiles every time we met. Had the best talk with her recently, maybe 3 weeks ago or so? I am so sorry this was our last real talk! Back in the 80's, there was a group of us crazy ladies, who loved to dance and travel. We called ourselves "The Golden Girls". Charlotte was one of us and we had so much fun, dancing our way through Dallas and Ft. Worth, even making a couple of trips to San Antonio. She had already begun to have health issues but didn't let them stand in her way. We just carried her insulin with us in a cooler. She kept us all beautiful with her generous samples of Clinique when she worked at Foleys. She was a beautiful, sweet, tough lady. I'm sure God welcomed her with open arms.
