Charlotte M. James' Obituary
Charlotte M. James born October 9, 1921 in Mankato, Minnesota and passed away October 30, 2014 in Carrollton, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert D. James, married October 1947; parents, Henry C. Mielke and Lena Hintz; sisters, Harriet M. Rummele, Adeline Hafner. Survived by daughters, Janet C. James, Roberta J. Drewry (husband Mike), Barbara J. Jackson (husband Chis); grandsons, Brett D. Jackson, Todd C. Jackson, Matthew R. Jackson; granddaughters, Emily D. Dimitt (husband Steven) Katie A. Drewry; great granddaughter, Sadie Jean Dimitt, also survived by five nephews and three nieces. Charlotte served two years in the Women’s Army Corp. and was also a Braniff Airways flight attendant. Our sincere appreciation goes to the nurses aides, and staff at Prestonwood Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
