Ms Charlotte Pennington's Obituary
Charlotte went home to be with our Lord on Sunday December 18th, 2022 at 9:07pm
surrounded by her daughters Rebekkah and Pam in heavenly peace.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ray Pennington, her parents
Inus Marie and Robert King Harris, and grandson Robert King. She is survived by their
4 children, Mike, Steve & wife Lisa, Becky, and Pam, 7 grandchildren, Stephen & wife
Nigel, David, Ashli & husband Justin, Garrett, Steven, Kristi & Baylee, 10 great
grandchildren, Sydney, Sabrina, Samantha, Savannah, Makenlie, Brance, Zeke, Wyatt,
Braley, and Gabrielle who was born hours before Charlotte’s passing, as well as her
sister Linda and Brother Bobby. Charlotte and Ray also had a large extended family who they cherished deeply. Charlotte “Granny” lived a blessed life full of love. With Jesus, she and Ray
orchestrated a beautiful home and family which they treasured dearly. She traveled the
world with her sweetheart and loved sharing memories of each trip with her friends and
family. She served in many areas of leadership in her church, and many have shared
how she prayerfully led them to be closer to Jesus. When asked, she'd respond that she
had done everything she could have possibly wanted in this life and was truly ready to
go home to see Jesus and longed so much to be in Ray’s arms again.
Charlotte was adored by all who were blessed to meet her and leaves behind a family
who will miss her terribly but are counting down the days to be reunited again in
Heaven!
