Charyl Elaine Waits' Obituary
Charyl Elaine Waits, born on February 22, 1952, at Fort Bragg in North Carolina, passed away on April 15, 2025. She was the beloved daughter of Donald and Evelyn Switzer.
Charyl married the love of her life, William "Bill" Waits, and together they built a beautiful family. She was a devoted mother to three children: Kathi, Scott (wife Linda), and Angela (husband Aric). Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Known affectionately as "Mema," Charyl adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, always finding time to share her famous chocolate chip cookies and fudge.
Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, reflected in her giving and humble nature. Charyl's love and dedication to her family made her the unsung hero, effortlessly managing everything with grace and ease.
Charyl leaves behind her loving husband, Bill, her three children, six grandchildren: John (wife Jessica), Justin (wife Alicia), Carissa (husband Colton), Jaycee, Jaxon, and Brooks, and seven great-grandchildren: Preslee, Maci, Cali, Aleigha, Carissa, Gregory, and Justin. She also leaves behind many cherished grand dogs.
Charyl's legacy of love, faith, and family will forever be remembered and celebrated by those who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
