Cheryl Marie Bachelder's Obituary
Cheryl Marie Bachelder passed away peacefully on February 10, 2025, at the age of 62. She is remembered as a loving mother and a gentle soul who, despite facing personal challenges, always strove to care for those around her.
Cheryl had a unique way of showing her love. She found joy in the simple acts of preparing meals—whether it was cooking a hearty chili or baking blueberry muffins and cakes. She also enjoyed continuous learning, taking college courses from time to time throughout her life because she found them interesting, and she loved playing Wordle and other games to bond with her children.
Her nurturing spirit shone through when she supported her son Matthew through the painful loss of his cherished pet, Rosco.
An avid animal lover, Cheryl cherished the companionship of her pets. During her final months, her beloved dogs, Charlie and Marsh, brought her immense joy and solace. She also held a special place in her heart for her cats, Kirby and Jack, and extended her compassion to all creatures by regularly feeding homeless cats in her community, ensuring that even those without a home felt cared for.
Throughout her journey, Cheryl faced challenges with anxiety and depression, yet even in the midst of hardship, her heart remained open. Her unwavering love for her children and those around her was a constant reminder of her strength and kindness.
Cheryl’s legacy is one of quiet resilience, compassion, and love. She was survived by her children, Michele Elsbree, Tiffany Alexander, Raymond Bachelder, Matthew Bachelder, David Bachelder, her brothers, Allen Wolf, Rick Wolf, Dan Wolf, Joel Wolf, and a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her father, Waldemore Wolf, mother, Diane Wolf, and brothers David Wolf and Dale Wolf.
Cheryl Marie Bachelder will forever remain in our hearts.
