Cheryl Rehnert " nee " Carlson's Obituary
Cheryl Rehnert “nee”Carlson 71 of Rowlett, TX, Passed away Wednesday October 2, 2024. Cheryl was born in Canton, OH on April 20,1953. She is proceeded in death by her parents Harold and Rachel (Virdo) Carlson along with brother Daniel Battista, and sisters Carol Carlson and Joanne Svetich, nephews Michael Battista and Owen Howe.
On January 13, 1975, she married the love of her life William (Bill) Rehnert and later moved to Texas. She became a realtor in 1989 and retired in July 2024. Cheryl enjoyed hosting family holidays and events especially her family reunions. She is survived by her children Thomas, Evan, Chelsea and Tristin. Siblings Judy Purdy of Clermont, Fl, Rick Carlson of Charlotte, NC, Toni (Harold) Barkley of Valparaiso, IN, Jenny (Mark) Rountree of Tybee Island, GA and Christine Carlson of Biloxi, MS. Also, her two current dogs Toby and Marley. Cheryl was an avid pet owner, devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was very proud of her Swedish and Italian heritage; she was our Swedish Meatball. Words cannot convey how much she will be missed she was loved by all.
