Cheryl Ann Hanson's Obituary
The soul of Cheryl Ann Hanson transitioned from earth to eternity on June 11, 2016; leaving the trevails of earthly life so that she may enjoy the relief and enjoyment of no more tears and no more pain, the old things that have now passed away. Cheryl will later be joined by her loved ones Winnie Smith, long time partner, friend and confidant, and Hugh (Skip) Hanson, brother and all of the host of friends that surrounded her in AA. Ms. Hanson was born in Pittsburg, Texas in 1946, attended Lamar High School in Houston, Texas and graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. Ms. Hanson taught public school in Dallas completing a 31 year career in the Dallas ISD. There will be a Memorial Service to honor Ms. Hanson that will be announced privately at a later time. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243.
