Chiadikobi O Uwaga's Obituary
His grandfather named him Ifiayong, after the place of his birth. Chiadikobi was a physical replica of his father Titus, tall, dark and had a habit of being quite fashionable. Opara (as he was fondly called), started schooling at the Central School Umuabali in 1951 and in 1959, began his High School education in the first Igbo National School at Igbo National College, where he had a flare for Math. He then proceeded to Methodist College, majoring in General Mathematics & Physics. He later enlisted in the army during the Biafra War and became a Two-Star Lieutenant. Post war, he became a math teacher at Evangel High School, and then moved to the UK in 1976 where he met Miss Jane Okeke fell in love and got married. Moving to Texas together they had and raised three wonderful children.

Children: Dr. Ogechi Uwaga-Sanders, Nonye Wise, Emenike Uwaga
Grand Children: Nasir King Titus Sanders, Amari Saint Kenechuckwu Sanders
At this time, services for Mr. Chiadikobi Uwaga will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 10a to 12pm at Hamilton Park United Methodist Church. A visitation will be held prior to the service at 9:30am.
