Chi-Wu Wu's Obituary
Chi-Wu Wu, 94, passed away Saturday July 16, 2016 in Plano, Texas. Mr. Wu was born August 30, 1919 in China. Mr. Wu was a retired General in the Nationalist Chinese Army. From 1947 to 1948 he completed advanced classes at the United States Armor School in Fort Knox, Kentucky. From 1951 to 1952 he worked as a translator for the United States at the Korean Armistice translating between China and Korea People’s Army and the United Nations during the Korean War. From 1959 to 1960 he attended United States Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. He was a hero who fought the Japanese in China – India – Burma Theater during World War II. Mr. Wu retired in 1978 as Deputy Chief of Staff, from the Chinese Nationalist Army. Mr. Wu is preceded in death by: 父伍厚安，母湯氏，弟修澍，弟媳饒廣蘭，弟修時，姪兒太蔭，外曾孫林宥元 Mr. Wu is survived by: 弟媳石淑琴，子孫-伍衛東，齊鳴，杜紅,朱建國，媛媛 大妹春容，妹夫周禮民，外孫子慶 小妹晚霞，妹夫胡漢楨，子孫-志軍，志裙，志斌，錦秀，航艦，閆小波，胡誠，胡榕，閆素 姪女齊群，姪女婿王福剛，子孫-王磊，王鑫，王靜語 侄媳劉芳，子孫-伍軼，何芬，伍昶樂。侄媳雙梅，子孫-伍丹 侄女愛弟，侄女婿王道重，子女黃河，黃石 Survived by: 長男 – 伍海辰， 長媳- 陳自玉。孫女- 伍珮芝，孫女婿- 黃偉綱，外曾孫女- 黃子瑜，黃絜榆。孫女，伍珮琦。 次男- 伍讓辰，次媳- 陳玉曾。孫子- 伍淑顯。孫女- 伍淑蘭，孫女婿- 林子弘。外曾孫- 林宥均，林宥廷。 Funeral Services for Mr Chi-Wu Wu will be held Sunday July 24, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Restland Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel.
