Chloe Ann Webb's Obituary
Chloe Ann Webb, 87, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 15th, 2024, surrounded by loving family members. She was a beloved member of her community, known for her unwavering faith, love for music, and dedication to her family.
Chloe was an accomplished author, having published her book, Legacy of the Sacred Harp, which explored the rich tradition of Sacred Harp singing. Her passion for music was evident in every aspect of her life. She was an active member of her church choir at Arborlawn United Methodist Church, where she shared her beautiful voice and love for singing with fellow congregants for many years.
Beyond her musical talents, Chloe was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Douglas, and her son, Michael, she is survived by three children, fourteen grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, who will all miss her dearly. Chloe’s legacy of love, faith, and music will continue to inspire those who knew her.
A memorial service to honor Chloe’s life will be held on Friday, July 19th, at Arborlawn United Methodist Church at 10:00 AM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest beside her husband at Restland Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Arborlawn United Methodist Church Choir Fund, to continue Chloe's passion for music and her church community.
