My daughter Christie struggled for many years with physical and medical challenges. Christie was a fighter though. She refused to quit, and suffered endlessly for these last years.Christie’s love of her life were her children. There was nothing more important to her then her son and daughter.I visited with Christie on July the 19th, only 10 weeks before she passed away. She was facing another surgery, and was afraid. She told me she knew her time in this life was coming close to an end. But Christie was only worried about one thing, and the was her children. We talked about death, and I tried my best to reassure her, it would be okay.It is a shock, even when knowing it might happen soon, to learn of one’s own daughter’s death. I am only grateful I got one last chance to see her.Christie Jane Harris. She was my daughter and I am proud of her. She was a fighter and I know she is now in a better place. She is free of the endless suffering she has endured for so long.Sweet dreams my dear daughter. I miss you.
