Christina Alderson Simmons' Obituary
Born January 27, 1915 in Plano, Texas and died January 7, 2012 in Mesquite, Texas. Christina was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Al Simmons, her parents, sister and brother and numerous family members. She is survived by four generations of nieces, nephews and cousins. Christina retired from Red Ball Motor Freight and was very proud of her 50 year membership in the Order of Eastern Star having served many offices during her active involvement. A graveside service will be held at Restland Memorial Park on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10:30am with Rev. Harry C. Meissner officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Faith Presbyterian Hospice, 4350 Sigma Rd., Suite 400, Dallas, TX 75244 or to the charity of your choice.
