Christine L. Galloway's Obituary
Christine Lewis Galloway of Dallas, Tx joined hands with her sister, Lorriane Pickens and went home to be with the Lord, on Friday January 28, 2022. She was born on May 15, 1937, in Nordheim, Texas. She was the Eighth of Nine children born to Joe Lewis and Lillie Richardson Lewis.
Christine and Edwin Lewis were blessed with a daughter, Lilly Lewis. Christine later met and married Thomas J Galloway. Unto this union, they were blessed with Four Children, Thomas J Galloway Jr (Rochelle), Toni Galloway-Kelley, Monica Galloway-Coleman(Jeffrey), Verlancia(Heidi) Galloway
Christine worked in the Nursing Home Industry beginning with Crestview (10 years), with Doctors Healthcare (20 years) and Arden Court until her retirement 2010. She had a passion for the Elderly and loved her taking care of the Senior Residents.
Christine loved the Lord and accepted Christ Jesus as her Savior. She served at Cornerstone Baptist Church in the Nurse Guild. She remained faithful member until her husband health declined.
Christine wholeheartedly loved Spending Time with her Grand Grands. She had a Serious Passion for All Sports, Gardening and Animals, Especially Babyboy Rug (Chauncey).
Christine was Blessed to See Five Generations of her Descendants.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Daughters Lilly, Toni, Monica, Verlancia and Son, Thomas. Her Grandchildren: Racey Hoskins, Jasmin Hoskins, Lakeshia Galloway-Love, Issia Shajuana Williams, Dwight Williams, Thomas (TJ) Williams, Adrian Galloway, Terrance Samples, Hollie Galloway, Justin Crowder, Jarryd Thomas, Jordan Thomas, Lauren Stubbs, Antonio Stubbs, Elizabeth-Ashley Stubbs-Nickerson, Rashad Galloway. Siblings: sister, Buelah Lewis King of Austin,Tx and brother, Bobby Lewis of Albuquerque, NM and a host of Great Grandchildren and Great Great Grandchildren, relatives, friends and loved ones.
Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Husband. Siblings: Brothers, Freddie Lewis, Joe M. Lewis, Julius Lewis; Sisters Jeanette Lewis, Elizabeth Lewis and Lorriane Lewis Pickens.
