Christine Salinas Rodriguez's Obituary
RODRIGUEZ, CHRISTINE of Dallas, TX passed away April 20, 2012 peacefully from the arms of her loving family into the arms of her Lord. Born March 27, 1934 in Houston, TX to Gabriel Salinas & Maria Pena. Christine is survived by her nine children Sylvia Rivas, Maria Zamora, Rebecca Encinia, Bobby Gonzales, Rachel Martinez, Juanita Mendoza, Gloria Rodriquez, Veronica Aguilar and Patricia Rodriquez and husband Juan Rodriquez. She is also survived by eighteen loving grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren. Christine was a devout follower of Jesus Christ and often expressed her love of Christ through her passion for music & devotion to those around her. She was immensely talented at playing the piano, sewing, cooking, crafts and making any stranger a friend within minutes. Christine will be sorely missed for her many gifts but most of all for her love of family. She was a kind-hearted, strong woman with a laugh that brought us lasting happiness. Rest in peace Grandma you will forever be remembered. Services will be held at Restland Funeral Home Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 12:30 p.m. with family visitation Tuesday, April 24 from 4-8 p.m at Restland Funeral Home.
