Christine Alberta Weltchek's Obituary
Christine Alberta Weltchek, wonderful mother and grandmother, age 87, passed away peacefully with her daughter holding her hand on March 28, 2017. Christine was born March 14, 1930 in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Henry and Priscilla Trollinger. Her family and cooking were her passion and delight. She especially cherished the opportunity to demonstrate her love toward her family by cooking them the foods they enjoyed most. Christine was equally loved by her family who affectionately referred to her as “Bubby” and “Big Bubby”. Christine is preceded in death by her husband, Nathan Weltchek and daughter Christie Jean Weltchek. Christine is survived by her daughter, Sandra Rhodes and husband Robert, granddaughter Christie Burton and husband Preston; her most cherished great grandchildren Ethan, Pippa, and Birdie; and many nieces and nephews. She will be fondly remember by all of those whose lives she touched. The funeral service for Christine Weltchek will be held at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Restland Memorial Park in the garden of Devotion.
