Christopher Shaun Hoffmann's Obituary
HOFFMANN, CHRISTOPHER SHAUN was called home to heaven on September 28, 2012. He was a firm believer in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and professed his faith openly. Shaun was very brave in his fight against Type I diabetes since the age of 7. He is survived by his wife, Karen, and their young son, Jonah, both of whom he loved dearly. He was an extremely devoted family man and nurturing father who is deeply loved and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. Shaun was born in Dallas, TX on July 3, 1975. He was graduated from Plano Senior High School and went on to earn his BBA degree from Baylor University. More recently in his career he became passionate about website design and was building a successful business. He was passionate about sailing, Christian music, social networking, his love for the Lord, and making a nice home for his family. He earlier pursued golf and was prominent on the AJGA tour in his teens. He also was the poster child at one time for the Juvenile Diabetes Association in Dallas. Other survivors include his parents, Melinda Hoffmann of Plano, TX and Jerry Hoffmann of Addison, TX, as well as two younger sisters, Shelley Hoffmann and Kimberly Hoffmann Pickering, both of Frisco, TX. Many other relatives live in the Dallas area. . Visitation will be Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will Wednesday, October 3, 2012 In the Chapel at Watermark Community Church.
