Christopher S. Merryman's Obituary
Christopher Shawn Merryman, 38 of Wylie, Texas was born in Dallas, Texas on September 28, 1981 to Gary and Marquetta Merryman. He passed away on November 1, 2019.Chris’s hobbies were writing and running. He was a loving father, husband, and son. He enjoyed volunteering at Children’s Health. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and had the biggest heart. He made you laugh and would creatively come up with the best nickname for you. Most importantly, Chris loved and enjoyed spending time with his family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Jacquetta and Polk Little, and Tim Merryman. Chris leaves behind his wife, Virginia Merryman; son, Peyton Merryman; parents, Marquetta and Gary Merryman; grandmother, Edna Merryman; sister, Andrea Merryman; mother in law and father in law, Deborah and Michael Finigan.A Memorial in Chris’s honor will take place in the Wildwood Chapel at 12:30 p.m. on November 11, 2019. In lieu of flowers the family request that a donation be made to Children’s Health or any Suicide Prevention charity.
