Christopher Robert Rogers' Obituary
Christopher Robert Rogers, of Dallas, Texas, went on to heaven on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 after fighting the evils of cancer with an unmatched strength and beauty. Born in Tyler, Texas on November 2, 1979 to Bob and Becky Rogers, he studied recording engineering, receiving his Associate of Science degree in 2002 from Full Sail in Orlando, Florida. He went on to record, produce, and mix amazing music with many talented artists. He was beyond creative and had such a discerning ear for all things music. He touched so many lives and all who knew him loved him dearly. He really was the best of us. To say he will be missed is an overwhelming understatement. Chris is survived by his adoring wife, Lindsay Rogers; his parents, Bob and Becky Rogers; his sister, Angie Fleming and her husband, Michael and their two children, Ben and Luke; and countless extended family and dear friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 7:00 PM at The Oaks Fellowship at 777 135E South in Red Oak, Texas, 75154. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2010, also at The Oaks Fellowship. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma Research Foundation.
