I remember the day we met in 8th grade at Hill. We were both using the same pen from Watson Electric and it started a conversation in which we discovered our dads knew each other. We were friends all through high school and members of the same TriHiY….'Friends Forever' Sweet girl and lady!
What a beautiful memory I have of Christy. She was the sweetest person, always had a big smile, and so friendly. Her family is in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all.
Christy was always known to my Dad as his "Yellow Rose of Texas". She had a heart as big as all of outdoors. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. One of my favorite more recent memories of Christy was when she came to Norfolk Virginia to attend my retirement from the US Navy. It was wonderful to share that special occasion with her. We had a family gathering at one of my favorite hangouts. It was called the Thirsty Camel. The "T" and the "C" were written in Old English script. Christy looked at the sign on the building and said "Look it's the "Christy" Camel. We all shared a hearty laugh! My heart is heavy, but I am happy to know that she is at peace and has been reunited with the her parents who loved her with all of their heart. Rest in peace dear cousin.

Christy's beautiful smile has ALWAYS been an inspiration. Remembering her sweet character when we were young (at Bryan Adam's High School) and as she endured many health challenges in recent years. Our dear Christy will be missed by her former classmates and friends. Brenda Milner Love
