Cindy Embretson Carson's Obituary
Cindy Embretson Carson was born November 5, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois. Daughter of Della and Spencer Embretson of Norwegian decent, and was raised in a Christian home in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Cindy married a service man, Paul Morris, who is now deceased at the end of World War II. They built their home in Little Rock, Ark. where she was active with her husband in a real estate development business. They both enjoyed flying their own Light aircraft, and Cindy became involved in a flying club called “99ers” and participated in a women’s “Powder Puff” cross country race where she was successful in winning many trophies. She moved to Dallas, TX and purchased a small shopping strip mall. She married Jack Carson who is now deceased; he had his own flying business ASA Crop Duster in Colorado. Where Cindy graduated from Floral Design school and purchased “Cindy’s Florist” in Farmers Branch, TX. Cindy had a very successful career as a floral designer and shop owner. She made many people happy with her beautiful flowers. Survived by brother, Dale Embretson and wife Betty Embretson; nephew, Gary Embretson of Eagan, MN; and niece, Gail Embretson Vass of Maple Plain, MN. Cindy was a long time resident at “The Tradition” in Dallas, until the present time. Internment will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 12 PM at Sparkman- Hillcrest.
