Cisira Louise Thomas' Obituary
Thomas, Cisira “Sarah”
Cisira “Sarah” Thomas, 83, of Richardson, Texas passed away peacefully early in the morning of Saturday, February 13th at T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center in Dallas. Her son, his wife, and grandchildren were able to be with her on Friday, at her side to comfort her and share their love.
Sarah was the beloved mother to Guy W. and the late David R. Thomas, a constant star of guidance, assurance, and unwavering love. Sarah was a free-spirited soul who loved to travel, experience new cultures, loved people, and was doggedly loyal to her family and friends. She began her journey at a young age, leaving her home on New Haven, CT to embark on a lifelong adventure, starting at Langley, VA. Her path led to marriage and her 2 sons, who were always by her side throughout the family’s many years across multiple continents and 5 countries. After her service to the United States, she settled in Richardson Texas in 1978, where she worked for Nortel, scheduling software loads for switching equipment for many years and then retired. Sarah was engaged with her neighbors and community and was well known for her welcoming demeanor and generosity. She loved music, taking road trips, frequenting the casinos, but most of all, her sons and grandchildren.
Sarah was born in New Haven on January 1st, 1938 and was the youngest daughter of the late Nazzareno and Venusta Cirilli Pandolfi. Mother of Guy W. (Brenda) Thomas and the late David R. Thomas. Grandmother of Michael D. and Sarah E. Thomas. Sister to the late Santi (Sam) Pandolfi and Rosemary Czuchra.
