I remember when I was in 10th grade and my sister Suzie was in 6th grade, Suzie and I took a Greyhound bus from New York to Virginia for a long weekend visit with Aunt Claire, Uncle Dick, and “the twins”. While we were there, Maureen and Eileen took us to see the monuments and some of the other sites in Washington D.C. and we went to the Smithsonian Museum with Aunt Claire and Uncle Dick.
Aunt Claire had a pet name for "the twins" that she used whenever she wanted one of them to do something but didn’t care which one did it. When we sat down to dinner the first night, Aunt Claire was calling out directions. “Suzie, get 2 more plates for the table.” “Suzie, bring some napkins.” My poor little sister didn’t know what to do. She jumped up and said “But I don’t know where the napkins are.” Aunt Claire looked at her questioningly for a moment and then said, “Not YOU, Suzie. THEM Suzie.” Everyone had a good laugh.
