Clara Annabelle Wallace's Obituary
WALLACE, CLARA ANNABELLE passed away February 1, 2014 at age 96. She was born on March 6, 1917 in Stuttgart, AR. At a young age she moved to Gillett, AR, married and raised two daughters. Clara loved her family and spent hours sewing pretty dresses for her girls, and attending their school events, also supervising their many slumber parties. Our Mother loved her life as a homemaker remodeling and decorating our home and planting beautiful flower gardens. She later moved to Texas to help care for the youngest grandson Steve and established a home in Plano, TX. As a grandmother she delighted in watching her grandsons Mike and Chris compete in motor cross races and attending rock concerts with her grandson Steve. She loved designing and sewing clothes for granddaughter Lisa and her dolls. Clara was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur Wallace. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Garlington and Jo Ann (Jodie) Hance and husband, Bill; four grandchildren, Mike Hance and wife, Susan, Chris Hance and wife, Paige, Lisa Manske and Steve Garlington. Her family includes seven great grandchildren, Griffen, Jared, Cooper, Jackson Hance, April Hance, Brittni and Catelyn Manske and great-great granddaughter, Alina Brown. Also surviving Clara is her sister, Gladys Almond of De Witt, AR. Visitation will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, February 7, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 3:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2014 at Restland Abbey Chapel.
