Clarence Fielding Gilmore born on December 22, 1922 in Wills Point, Texas and passed away July 3, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by father, Leon M. Gilmore; mother, Rosalie Hill Gilmore; brother, Leon M. Gilmore, Jr. Survived by wife, Hazel; daughters, Patricia Ann Gilmore and Rosanne Gilmore McAdam; son-in-law, Chris McAdam; grandson, Fielding Pittman and Fiancée Erin McCracken; grandson, William Pittman and wife Jess Pittman. Clarence graduated from Texas A&M class of ’44 and served in the Army Air Corp in the Pacific Theatre retiring as a major in 1953. He owned and operated Clarence Gilmore and Associates, consulting engineers. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 11 AM at the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Park United Methodist Church Library.
