The generosity and kindness that Ed showed to so many people, my family especially, will never be forgotten. A true gentleman in every sense of the word. Cherish all of the good memories, especially admiring his insight and passion for politics. We had many long dinner conversations at his home in Dallas. I had the pleasure to go grocery shopping many times with Ed on our way home from the store. Even when I was not hungry, his gift for describing the perfect steak and how to prepare it transformed my appetite to famished. Know that he and your family have touched so many lives in a positive way. So sorry for your loss, god bless you all during this difficult time.
