Clarence Ray McGuffin's Obituary
On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, Clarence Ray McGuffin of Garland, Texas, passed away of terminal cancer at the age of 79. He was born on October 9, 1941 to J.W. and Jewell McGuffin in Bergheim, Texas. Clarence married June Adele Thrasher in October of 1965. He was a machinist and retired from Texas Instruments after 30 years. Clarence proudly served in the U.S. Army as a Military Police during the Vietnam War. He is survived by his daughters, Clarice Perry and Crystal Nelson, his sister, Fay Moore, and his six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021 in the Wildwood Chapel in Restland at 10 A.M. In remembrance of his life, charitable donations can be made to the Brain Injury Association of Texas.
