Clarice French, 92, passed away peacefully to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, February 11, 2018, at her home in Dallas, TX.Service will be at 11AM, Monday, February 19, 2018, at Royal Haven Baptist Church, 3700 Valley View Lane, Farmers Branch, Texas, 75244. Interment will be at Restland Cemetery, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX, 75243, at 1PM, on Monday.Clarice was born in Durant, Oklahoma, on January 25, 1926 to W.D. Douglas and Dovie Douglas. The family moved to Gainesville, Texas when Clarice was a preschooler. Clarice graduated from Gainesville High School in 1944. After WWII, she met Charles French, the love of her life, and they were married in 1947.Clarice was a very successful sales person specializing in up scale ladies apparel for Margo’s LaMode until her retirement in 1990. During her tenure she received awards and always stood out among others in her field. Her genuine love for people and her willingness to serve was her trademark whether in business, church or community activities.Clarice was preceded in Death by her loving husband of seventy years, Charles French, who passed away September, 2017. Charles and Clarice were active members of North Dallas Baptist Church and Royal Haven Baptist Church. They are both very much missed by family and the many friends they have made over the years. “Well done thou good and faithful servants”.
