Clark Reinhardt's Obituary
REINHARDT, CLARK SMITH 67, died on Wednesday night July 15, 2015 in Garland, Texas. He was born on January 1, 1948 to the late Ellis and Joy Reinhardt in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Don Reinhardt. Clark graduated from Bartlesville’s College High School in 1966 and then went on to receive a Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University in Political Science and a Bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma University in Fine Arts. He married Janet Elaine Parker in 1973, and they lived together in Oklahoma City before relocating to the Garland/Richardson area in 1982. Clark loved art and enjoyed a 30+ year career as a Graphic Artist, photographer, and entrepreneur. He was dedicated to making his family’s lives full of wonder, adventure, love, and laughter. Clark deeply valued his friendships and maintained them from as far back as elementary school. He greatly enjoyed painting, cooking, traveling with family and friends, and playing poker with his buddies. Clark was genuine, kind-hearted, generous, and compassionate, with an infectious joy for life. He is survived by his son Nathan Reinhardt and his wife, Brandi Cavener Reinhardt, son David Reinhardt, daughter-in law Liliana Reinhardt. He is also survived by his three grandsons: Preston, Devin, and Parker Reinhardt. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, July 26, 2015 at Restland Memorial Chapel. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
