Claude Liner Holsapple Jr.'s Obituary
Claude Liner Holsapple, Jr. was born on August 17, 1929 and died on October 30, 2009. Mr. Holsapple was retired from Holsapple Engravers. In business since 1943, he worked first with his parents and then with his children. He was a jewelry hand engraver, but he had many talents. He was an accomplished musician. He played saxophone in many bands throughout his life, including the Hella Shrine Band. Claude was always ready with a joke and a grin. He never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Martha Holsapple. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Debra and Buddy Lohden, Julie and Dan Hardgrave and his son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Wendy Holsapple. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren and many family and friends. If you ever met Claude, you would never forget him…..if you didn’t meet him, you really missed something. Services will be held at Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at 3:30 pm.
