I talked to Claude L. (my Gentry cousin) on the telephone before Christmas, 2018. And sent him a letter and Christmas card. We had a nice conversation/telephone visit. I knew he was turning “100” this year, 2019. I am so sorry that I did not find out about his death, until yesterday (September 9th), when I was working on the computer and came across his obituary. It made me really sad. My heart goes out to his family. May God give you peace.

I have only known Claude a few years since I became a member of FUMC Mesquite. He was a delightful soul who always sported a warm smile. His gentle spirit will be missed.
