Claudie Marie Green Langford's Obituary
Claudie Marie Langford (Green), age 80, passed from this life on January 3, 2017, in Arlington, Texas. She was born in Dallas, Texas, to James Columbus Green and Ruby Marie Green (Pierce) and was the second of twelve children. She graduated from Crozier Technical High School and then worked in the accounting department for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, Dallas, Texas, retiring in 1979. Claudie attended Living Hope Church, Arlington, Texas. She loved traveling, cooking, and crafts but mostly she loved listening to others and pouring her life into her large extended family. Claudie was married for 57 years to Charles Edward Langford, son of Charles Gibbs Langford and Carmen Langford (Jones). He graduated from Sunset High School in Dallas, Texas, served honorably in the U.S. Air Force, was a Volunteer Firefighter in the Ingleside on the Bay fire department, and retired from civil service where he supported the Department of the Air Force. Claudie is survived by her son Charles Edward Langford, Jr., and his wife Christina Smith (Marvin), and her daughter Tammy Marie Bushnell (Langford), grandchildren Gerald Wayne Hammonds, Jr., and his wife Lacey Rose Hammonds (Rubalcava), Charles Edward Langford III, Jessica Ann Langford, Andrea Marie Perkins, Becca Shono and her husband Hiromoto Shono, great grandchildren Danica Marie Bunch Langford, Gercey Unicorn Hammonds, Peter Wayne Shono and Patrick Robert Shono, sisters Jimmie Louise Ham (Green), Ruby Lee Swan (Green), Betty Janice Timmons (Green), Carrie Paulette Rogers (Green), Deborah Elizabeth Anderson (Green), and brothers Tommy Ray Green, Harry Paul Green, James Lynn Green, Charles Vincent Green, and Robert Neal Green and their spouses and families. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Vicki Diane Hammonds (Langford), and brother Kenneth Wayne Green. Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 7, 2017 from 2-3 PM at Wildwood Chapel, Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 3 PM at Wildwood Chapel, Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted into Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75243. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the charity of your choice.
