Clayton Dean Carrell's Obituary
Clayton Dean Carrell was born to Richard and Mildred Carrell on September 18, 1944 in Dallas, Texas. He passed away and joined in peace with our Lord on April 4, 2022. Clayton leaves his loved ones with unforgettable memories and loving stories. He will be sincerely missed by his loving family, devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.
After graduation from high school in Dallas, Clayton enlisted and served honorably in the United States Air Force during the 1960’s. He then met the love of his life, Carmen, and they were married on April 26, 1968. He was a wonderful dad, raising 3 loving children, Colin, Craig, and Christine, a loving father-in-law to Jennifer, Stacy, and Robert, a beloved “G-pa” to Taylor, Corissa, Shelby, Morgan, Kylie, Logan, and Kendall, and loving uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and a faithful follower of Christ. He had many interests, including being a history buff, martial arts, ‘50’s rock ‘n roll and real country music, guns, and watching football, but his real passion was spending time with his family. He loved watching his kids and grandkids play sports and dance recitals through the years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carmen Carrell; son Colin Carrell and his wife Jennifer; son Craig Carrell and his wife Stacy; daughter Christine (Carrell) Choate and her husband Robert; seven grandchildren, Taylor, Corissa, Shelby, Morgan, Kylie, Logan, and Kendall; and many nieces and nephews who all loved him.
