Clifford Tsin-Jen Wong's Obituary
Clifford Wong peacefully passed at the age of 69, after valiantly fighting his battle with lung cancer for eight and half years. Clifford was born on October 28, 1952, in Hong Kong to parents Lip-King and Elsie Wong along with siblings Alvin and Elaine.
Clifford left Hong Kong to attend Stanton Military Academy in Virginia where he graduated as Salutatorian in 1971. After graduation, Clifford pursued his architectural degree at The University of Texas at Arlington where he met his best friend and wife, Rosemary. Clifford and Rosemary married in 1976. They cherished each other during their 45 years of marriage and shared a life full of love.
Clifford was a successful architect and led his own firm for over 30 years, specializing in multi-family apartments. His family finds comfort and peace living in the home he designed for them. His projects throughout the country remain a visible and joyful reminder of his legacy.
Clifford's most beloved hobby was table tennis, and he proudly co-founded the Plano Table Tennis Club with his friends. Fond memories of Clifford playing at the recreation center and at home will be remembered by his friends and family.
Clifford's greatest joy in life was his family and being "YeYe" to Madeline and Abigail, his two granddaughters. From watching their soccer games to taking family vacations, there was nothing else he enjoyed more than spoiling and spending time with them.
His family misses his love of life and infectious energy, but his personality can be seen in those he has left behind. He is survived by his wife Rosemary, three children Jeffrey, Melissa, Michelle, daughter-in-law Amy, granddaughters Madeline, Abigail, and siblings Alvin and Elaine.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Restland Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel located at 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243. Viewing will be at 1:00 pm with the service beginning at 2:00 pm, and burial will follow at Restland Cemetery.
