Clota Mae Vaughn's Obituary
VAUGHN, CLOTA MAE passed away February 8th after a long illness. She was born on December 31, 1918 in Edom, Texas but grew up in Canton and moved to Dallas in 1935 where she graduated from Parkland Nursing College in 1939. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Preceded in death by her husband, Chester and son, Rick Vaughn. She had been a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Dallas, her nursing career spanned almost 60 years, and was a kind and loving person. She is survived by son, Barry and wife Gloria of Plano; daughter-in-law, Ginger of Albuquerque; grandsons, Paul of Dallas, Michael of New York, and Ian of Littleton, CO; granddaughter, Renee Ahern of Albuquerque; great-grandchildren, Dillon, Jackson and Alana Ahern of Albuquerque; sister, Ala Bee Copenhaver of Ft. Worth; and brother, Wendell Wisdom of Texarkana. Graveside services will be at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas on Tuesday February 12, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
