Clyde Leon Gleaves Jr.'s Obituary
GLEAVES JR, CLYDE LEON, Born July 8, 1920 in Texas and passed away January 6, 2008 in Dallas, Texas. Clyde worked for Texas and Pacific Railroad. He was a member of Lovers Lane Methodist Church for over 60 years where he sang in the choir for 50 years. He served his country in the Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Freddie Gleaves; brother, D.W. ‘Bill’ Gleaves, and his parents. He is survived by 2 nephews, Dwight Gleaves and wife Judy, Sam Gleaves and wife Linda; 3 great nieces; and 4 great great nephews. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 8, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Restland Abbey Chapel with interment following at Restland Memorial Park.
